British Prime Minister Sunak faces a fine for not wearing a seatbelt

International Desk: UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak got into trouble by unfastening his seatbelt for some time in a moving car. He has to pay a fine for this.

A 42-year-old man was fined for wearing a seatbelt in a moving vehicle, Lancashire police said, without naming Rishi Sunak.

British Prime Minister’s office ‘Downing Street No. 10’ said Sunak apologized for the mistake he made. He will pay a fine as punishment. Sunak has to pay the fine within 28 days.

Under UK law, failure to fasten your seatbelt while driving can result in an instant £100 fine. If the case goes to court, a fine of up to £500 can be imposed.

Sunak went on a trip to north-west England by car on Thursday. He had removed his seatbelt for some time in the moving vehicle. He removed his seatbelt mainly for a video on social media. Later, when it spread on social media, a storm of criticism started against British Prime Minister Sunak. As a prime minister, the opposition party, Labor Party, has washed him away for such work.
